The communications director for New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez has stepped down.
According to Associated Press, Chris Sanchez resigned to move out-of-state.
This is the second recent Martinez Administration departure announced in the same week, the often controversial Public Education Secretary Hanna Skandera said Thursday she was resigning later this month.
The new communications director position was given to the governor’s federal affairs coordinator Larry Behrens, who previously worked as the spokesman for the Education Department and the Higher Education Department.
